Mika and Sean’s whimsical, camping inspired wedding in Sedona, Arizona was such a dream! Grab a cup of coffee and play your favorite Bon Iver album while you’re checking this out, because it’ll give you all the cozy vibes!

This wedding in particular holds a very special place in my heart solely because of how loved and welcomed I felt by Mika and Sean. Mika and I hit it off from the beginning and I am seriously convinced we are soul sisters, haha! We share the same loves of camping, dogs, autumn, and early 2000s R&B music so I knew we would be best friends! I got to do their engagement photos during the peak of autumn on the same creek and had such a great time getting to know more about them and their love for each other! Seriously, they are two of the greatest people you’ll ever meet and you can’t help but love them to bits!!

Fast forward to their wedding day. It was the gloomiest and rainiest day ever, which is my favorite! It gave their beautiful venue, Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona, all of the best PNW vibes! Not only that, but it complimented the camping theme so well!! Everybody was walking around with cozy blankets on and cups of coffee, smoke was coming out of the fireplaces of each cabin- it was a dream!

Mika wore a beautiful gown by @wilderlybride paired with the cutest pink wedges. I loved the high neck of the gown paired with the open back, especially with an up do by @hairbycindyhernandez. Her bouquet made by @fosterwrightfloraldesign was filled with mostly white flowers with a touch of light pink and tons of greenery. All of the details from this day made my heart swoon!!

Of my favorite spots of Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek, as well as Mika and Sean’s, is the rustic wooden bridge. They decided to do a private first look on it, and let’s just say we all left with tears in our eyes! That was just the start of all of the happy tears of the day, haha! Their ceremony was short and sweet due to the impending storm, but that didn’t take away from all of the sweet emotions and heartfelt moments. Afterwards Mika, Sean and I explored around the entire venue finding spots of heaven for their portrait session. I loved the mini plots of daisies within the orchard and the deep green of the apple trees. Then we hopped on a golf cart and went right next to Oak Creek, and that’s when the rain came! Mika and Sean embraced it, and I am so obsessed with all the moody romantic vibes. If you look closely you can even see raindrops in the frame and on Sean’s jacket- ugh insert all of the heart eyes!! THIS is why you shouldn’t get upset when it rains on your wedding day!! After some dancing in the rain and warming up with warm cocktails, it was time to EAT AND PARTY.

The rain pattered against the reception tent as we all danced the night away… literally. We all danced for SO long and still had an after party, haha! Mika and Sean’s friends and family were are so much fun and welcoming! I may or may not have stayed up partying with them into the early morning… haha! It was the perfect way to end such a beautiful day! I hope you all love these images as much as I do! It was the best day ever and I am so LUCKY to have been the one to capture it!!
