Emma and Nathan’s adventure session in the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona was the perfect mixture of fun, a little moody, and down right beautiful!! They met each other when they were 15 and 16 and recently tied the knot last June! Being from the east coast they always dreamed of exploring the southwest so they planned an epic trip out here! Their love for each other was so dang sweet and I had the absolute best time getting to know them! I left the session with such a huge smile on my face because it was truly a DREAM to photograph their love!

It was a very gloomy day in the desert which is pretty rare, but it gave us the most beautiful moody vibes. Clouds bring out the deep reds in the rocks and makes the colors so vivid. I loved Emma’s choice of a burnt orange flowy dress and how it blended seamlessly with the rocks surrounding them. Her choice of being barefoot gave the session a very bohemian, laid back vibe. We had the entire area of this canyon to ourselves so we embraced it!! In Sedona it can be hard to find secluded spots like this, but man it is soooo worth it. When there isn’t another soul in sight it is so easy to get comfortable in front of the camera and bring out your natural love.
